Development Applications

Proposed official plan amendment and rezoning of the property to allow for the development of (1) four storey townhouse block consisting of (7) freehold units. Appealed to OMB by applicant. An Absolute Title application was submitted by the developer to the Ontario Land Registry Office.

City Council approved the proposal of a mixed residential-commercial-public park development, including a building with a 3-storey high commercial element and a 34-storey residential tower connected via a 2-storey podium. Iniatives

The City of Toronto has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study to assess the consolidation of approximately thirty (30) stormwater outfalls within the Etobicoke Waterfront Drainage Area that discharge stormwater directly to Lake Ontario and to improve water quality by implementing stormwater management facilities.

Eighth Street Parkette was selected as the future location for Lakeshore's contentious Skateboard Park. Community consultation is ongoing and environmental remediation options are being explored for the site.

The Mimico 20/20 Revitalization Initiative is an on-going, formal community revitalization process in Mimico.
